The color palette

Choose colors

Make a color palette is not easy for an non artist. The trivial solution could be random. But in my previous experience , I note that will not be really beautifull. I learn that thest way to make it ready is to extract it from the reality as we can see and malformed in a photo.

The Minimal Value Proposition

I would release my first MVP, but I need to have an idea of what I need to make done before sending it to the net.

In this solution, I need to make attention on different important point of view.

Technologie

The fist element of this value proposition is the technology behind it. With my great experience on programming language as Java/C++ where I am certainly considered someone as a guru , I can take a solid choice that will not break my solution.

On the client part

Html and javascript as the client solution. After all, simple it is more I could deploy it easily. Two other web choice as Bootstrap solution and React from Facebook become a good final proposition that can be evolve easily.

On the server part

I guess that my experience in this area offer to me a lot of solution. But the more elastic it is the more easy I will change it. JSON becomes the preferred transport dynamic data. I would use something as Mongodb that I have tested a lot and where I found interesting capability for complex data transformation, duplication and partitioning. But with this king of technology the best choice for the web server is node js that is completely in javascript as mongodb .

Easy deployment and development and test solution

associate with Docker to preload mongodb and nodejs installed and set correctly, the solution appear complete and will work on different development environment and different OS.

I guess that for a simple MVP, the technical price appear an huge solution. But I prefer a solid base where I could easily change it without changing the complete technology or code structure

The content

Branding

I need a logo, a name and colors palette. I need too, Some images extracted from opened image and rewritten to make it the most anonymous as possible.

What I want to show

As I have explained, in my previous post, I want to talk about Team building, especially on Rugby area. My first test/feature will be to try to create an event creation with a calendar view. The event could be public or private. The user could invite other with just an email or in sending/sharing a static url generated during the event creation.

Simple design

Create an event in one click after authentication.

Default content

In adding default kind of event or in adding future public event as a simple loto. It permits to make live the site.

Signup

Signup by google or Facebook or internally with email verification.

Token management related to the authentication, will permit to connect action and rights access to the user

The law

A part not to ignore , I f we want closed and honest solution. Add copyright, add data information for cookies, add an informal data safe usage content,...

Begin by the experience

I start my Startup research to make up my understanding of the team building . As an old experienced Rugby player , I faced a lot of common usage of the Team building effort necessary to improve the result week by week of a Team. Some code appear and some issues and team failure too. The coach is at heart of the team . But the team or the appartenance feeling of a group is the shadowed part of the team performance.

Take a relative current issue in the TOP 14 rugby french leach. We can count two team with internationnal players Racing and Toulon (I don t use directly the real name) All have internationnal players. In the previous championship, Racing has payed a lot for an uncredible irish player. But the result of the team was poor and doesn t finish at the Top at the end of the regular season. When Toulon on the same time finished the competition on top of the European and French competition. What was the difference?

The next lines will be my proper opinion and certainly occulted other factors that could make my sentence incomplete.

The racing is on a way to be on the top of the championship on a minimum time in selecting player from france an stranger. One principal issue was certainly to make a selection of different player from different region of the world. In a short time when we want a quick result, the solution appear hardly to be done. People with different culture,language and feeling need time to become a Strong Team.

If you see Toulon, you will see that a group of player from the same world region has been selected. In this case South Africa were important. But New zealand origin was too present. The solution of the coach was to select people by the feeling that the people could have with other players. For instance players coming from the same team or international selection. If we take the new zealand approach, the first movement was to engage a star of international rugby as a player and as a coach at final. With the knowledge of this player and the feeling that the player has with other players from the same country the coach has permited opened position and engagement for reticent player. In continuing the relationship along the season with a good integration process organized by a group with the joking facts that could arrive between different country make the team more strong and make the result necessary to win.

As we see , important notes to make are: good feeling, group of people, integration process and certainly the most important way is the time.

I need to create a solution for seasons and not just for one shot. The user should be contacted at the frequency less than a week. for 12 months as in france by example where some Fiesta are organized along the two month of the summer. Make retention, viral solution , make organizational tool and other element to make this experience possible will be my research.

At the beginning

The beginning of my story start with the idea that I want to make done.

Creating a new business demand a research on the activity , customers and time to make it ready to start.

My volition to help people on the approach to make a Strong team in a closed environment as a sport team is at the heart of my idea.

But how to start?

My first idea is to work at the heart of a team based sport as Rugby.

Searching how to make a Rugby team more strong , more efficient, more connected. It seams to be a social media. But replacing facebook, pinterest, twitter will not be possible. Assembling the wall of all this sparse story could be a good idea. Working on organizing it will more interesting. Perhaps the creation of travel agency could be one response, but the target is the Team building.

Searching on a segment of the coaching area is simply an approach for a Lean startup strategy that I will try to follow .

Pivoting on segment as other sport, other language, other segment as company coaching or focusing on a specific area as calendaring or api or site aggregator will my list of long possibilities I would test and organize.
